Governor's Tort Reform Bill Fails to Gain Hearing

Senate Democrat leaders did not bring up Gov. Brad Henry’s lawsuit reform package for a vote on the Senate floor yesterday, the final day to vote on bills in the house of origin. Both Democrats and Republicans believed that the bill would not receive the votes needed to pass the Senate.
